Social Workers Association (SHUDER) LGBTI + Rights Commission organized an empowerment workshop for social service interns.
Social Workers Association (SHUDER) LGBTI + Rights Commission's first empowerment program, which was planned for senior social service interns in civil society organizations, was held on 11 March. 25 social service interns attended the program and experts from LGBTI + rights associations and LGBTI + rights commissions made presentations.
The event started with a workshop in which Doğukan Karahan from Pink Life LGBTI + Solidarity Association explained gender and norms.
In the second session, Rıza Yılmaz LGBTİ + from the SHUDER LGBTİ + Rights Commission explained the basic concepts.
In the last session, Seçin Tuncel from Kaos GL Association conducted a workshop with participant trainees on false facts and frequently asked questions about LGBTI+.
