Feminists and LGBTs Get Together in the ‘Comrade Forum’ Kaos GL - News Portal for LGBTI+
“Comrade Forum” will be moderated by İlknur Üstün on the second day of the International Feminist Forum coordinated by Kaos GL Association.

As the first session of Sunday, the “Comrade Forum” will start at 12:00 with the participation of feminists and LGBTs.
“To become stronger and free together”

Below is the call for the “Comrade Forum” to discuss the organizational and ideological relations between feminists and LGBTs:

"Although feminist struggle seems active in some areas, we are subject to a Picture like that almost all parts of the struggle withdraw into its own “home”/environment. What kind of possibilities can we explore by taking a fresh look at organisational and ideological relationships between Feminists and LGBTs?

Can the Feminist/women movement become successfull in its struggle against sexism without developing a discourse and practice of anti-homofobia and anti-transfobia?

How can we develop a local and global feminist perspective against rising conservatism?

While our societies becoming conservative day by day, We are coming together to overlook what and how we are doing and where we stand."

Interpretation will be Available

All the events will take place in Ankara University Cebeci Campus Ahmet Taner Kışlalı Sanat Evi and everyone is welcome. Interpretation will be available for the first day of the forum.
