Michael Achtman, a digital artist, writer and filmmaker based in the UK, Edith van der Heijde, an international promotion manager for short and experimental films and Çağlar Kimyoncu, a digital artist, arts consultant and curator, are in the Short Film Competition Jury.

Tunisian director Houcem Slouli’s short film Conditional Desire, which tells the story of two young homosexuals Ahmed and Salma, will be screened in the short film section. The plot of the film is as follows:
“In a society of expectations, Ahmed and Salma, two young homosexuals, marry for convenience, seeking freedom and pursuing their passions. With secret lovers representing their true identities, they navigate emotional challenges, questioning sacrifices made to preserve their secret. ‘Conditional Desire’ explores identity, love, and staying true in a restrictive world.”
