Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Co-Chair Mithat Sancar described what kind of a presidential candidate they are looking for at the parliamentary group meeting of their party.
Sancar drew attention to the necessity that the presidential candidate should reflect the diversity of the society with the following statements:
“Well, we announced that we would run a presidential candidate. What we mean is this: We lay it on the line that we are looking for and in desire of running a candidate of all people, all beliefs, all cultures and all sexual orientations living on this land. A name who will be the candidate of workers, laborers, oppressed people and those who turn an honest penny. A voice that will represent women, youth and ecologists.”
