May-June issue of the Kaos GL Magazine is out, and the subject of this issue is “Gender”.
The 178th issue of Kaos GL Magazine, which is being published since 1994, is on the shelves with the “Gender” cover.
Kaos GL Magazine May-June 2021 issue discussed the historical debates regarding the concept of gender, gender-culture relationship, the role of gender in the services of local governments, feminist foreign policies, the historical background of trans exclusionary views, anti-gender movements with negative effects on all areas of life and the effects of gender in the design sector.
Hard copies of the magazine can be accessed from bookstores after May 17 due to pandemic restrictions, while online subscribers can access the issue from the website of the magazine.
Who was featured in the Gender issue?
Articles of Berfin Atlı, Çiğdem Demir, Defne Güzel, Demet Bolat, E. İrem Akı, Evren Savcı, Sa Bahattin, Sema Semih ve Staffan Herrström took place in the Gender casework.
Ali Bulunmaz, Cem Anılan, dethpraxis, Feminist Bellek Ekibi, Gizem Karagöz, Semih Özkarakaş, Yener Yüksel and May 17 Association contributed to the Actual Pages with their articles and interviews.
The artwork of Doğukan Çiğdem, Uzman Avcı/Expert Hunter, is on the cover and the artwork of Erol Eskici is featured on the general pages. Bengisu Akyürek, Huan, and Melis Yılmaz accompanied the articles with their illustrations.
