Here is the call of the magazine:
Our lives, shut down by the oppressive-violent policies which are getting stronger by the day, by the legal system that was envisioned to create safe spaces but frequently comes across as a means of violation, and the "New Normal"... How do we maintain the strength and solidarity to continue despite and against all this? What does hope mean to us? Is it possible to politicize the hope that we hold on with the dream of a better life while experiencing Tough Times?
In the upcoming issue of Kaos GL, we will discuss the "Tough Times". We wish to discuss the struggle for our rights and lives which is overshadowed by hate speech, isolation policies of the government and the effects of the pandemic on our lives; the hardships of the past period that we have faced in the individual level and as the associations and our tools for dealing with the uncertainties; the effects of hope on our present and tomorrow; our practices of gaining spiritual and physical resilience. We invite you to the upcoming issue of Kaos GL to discuss and share together on the Tough Times.
