Why 26th of April?

On 26th of April, Lesbian Visibility Day has been celebrated all across the World. Last year, Kaos GL Association has published “Do not avoid to tell: Lesbian (Söylemekten Çekinme: Lezbiyen)” brochures in dedication to 26th of April. In that day, various events are held all around the World in order to raise voices of lesbian women.

What kind of events can you organize?

As Kaos GL Association, we are open to organize any kind of event aiming lesbian visibility. The first ideas come to our minds as suggestion are as follows: forums where problems of lesbians may be discussed, workshops where access to health of lesbians, frequently asked questions workshop, panel sessions where representation of lesbians in media to be discussed, story-telling or reading events with the stories of Women to Women Story Contest winners.

Please do not hesitate and share your ideas with us via: bilgi@kaosgldernegi.org

What are Rainbow Events?
