Kürşad Kahramanoğlu, journalist-author, is participating in the 9th International Anti-Homophobia Meeting organized by Kaos GL.
Kahramanoğlu, whose book titled “Babalara Hediyeler” has just been published, will be giving a talk titled “A Happy family: An early heaven” within the scope of International Anti-Homophobia Meeting.
 
In his talk, Kahramanoğlu highlights the questions “What is family? What is the meaning of family for the LGBTs? What is happening if the family is homophobic?”
 
His talk will be held on May 17 at Ankara University ATAUM Prof. Dr. Necdet Serin Conference Hall:

Who is Kürşad Kahramanoğlu
Kürşad Kahramanoğlu, human rights activist and unionist, worked in England as a unionist for a long time and was back in Turkey in 2007. He was elected as the General Secretary of the International Lesbian and Gay Association (ILGA) in 1999. Besides, he was a columnist in BirGün newspaper and gave lectures at İstanbul Bilgi University Law Faculty and Graduate Program in Human Rights Law.
 
Finally, he collected his columns published at both national and international levels in "Babalara Hediyeler."
 
Kürşad Kahramanoğlu is the member of Kaos GL.
