“Women of Year” awards given by SES Equality and Solidarity Association found their owners with a ceremony held yesterday. Social Policy, Gender Identity and Sexual Orientation Studies Association and LİSTAG, on behalf of LGBTI+ families, were also awarded at the ceremony.

“Women of Year” awards given by SES Equality and Solidarity Association, found their owners with a ceremony held yesterday.

Aiming to provide gender equality, to support active citizenship and solidarity in order to reach sustainable development goals, SES awarded Social Policy, Gender Equality and Sexual Orientation Studies Association (SPoD), and on behalf of LGBTI+ families, Families and Friends of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Trans People in Turkey (LİSTAG).

LİSTAG told the followings for the award which was taken on behalf of all LGBTI+ families in Turkey:

“We are at SES ‘Women of Year’ 2022 Award Ceremony. Thank you very much for this honorable award. We are honored to receive this award on behalf of LGBTI+ Family Groups in Turkey and dedicate it to our trans children who are not fit into the huge world.”

SPoD took SES’s award from lawyer Yasemin Öz from Kaos GL.
