TED University Logos Community came together with Aslı Alpar, from Kaos GL, within the scope of the cartoon workshop entitled “We are drawing for our rights” yesterday (November 8).

The concepts like cartoon, humor, and comic were hashed out; the comic perception of the heteropatriarchal gender binary system was brought into discussion within the context of the workshop. Following the discussion about what queer comic is, basic techniques of cartooning were shown.

The workshop came to a close after each participant completed their own cartoon.
