Zeynep Özatalay spoke about children's book illustrations in the seventh workshop of the Caricature School, which was organized online due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

The Caricature School, which set out with an approach against the hegemony of heterosexism and bigenderism over humor, was held online on Saturday (April 18th) due to measures taken against the New Coronavirus outbreak, which the World Health Organization declared as a pandemic.

The seventh course of the Caricature School was on "to produce illustrations for children's books". Zeynep Özatalay instructed at the workshop. Özatalay, who shared their practices of painting for children's books with participants, has touched on many topics from character consistency to different styles. Noting the importance of good composition, Özatalay asked the participants to draw a page of Kumkurdu, a children's book series.

The series of workshops, which will run until June, will be held in the coming weeks by different instructors on various topics such as activist caricature, the font in caricature.
