The winners of the 16th Women to Women Story Contest, this year held with the theme of "Home", has been announced!

The winners of the 16th Women to Women Story Contest have been announced Kaos GL - News Portal for LGBTI+

Pejmürde's story "The Door" was awarded the grand prize. Kıymet Güleş's story titled "Talking Dusts Looking Windows" came in second place; Ayça Şebnem's story "Garden of Remembrance" won the third prize.

Ciğdem Gönen was awarded the Special Plot Twist Award for the story "Brother Mustafa, We Came And You Were Not Home"; Nihal Güres, was awarded Body and Desire Special Award with the story "My Life is an Art Museum"; Gökçin Celikiz was awarded the Special Award for Solidarity with the story "Close to Home" and Gülay Bad was awarded I Exist and I Am Here Special Award for the story "Worths a Dime".

The stories were evaluated at an online meeting on April 24th with the participation of the jurors Aslı Solakoğlu, Aylime Aslı Demir, Belma Fırat, Burcu Baba, Ebru Nihan Celkan, Karin Karakaşlı, Oya Burcu Ersoy, Pelin Buzluk and Süreyya Karacabey.

16th year of Women to Women Story Contest

Women to Women Story Contest is 16 years old, a journey that was started in 2006 with the theme "The Happy Love is Possible", as a response to the invisibility of love between women! In the past 16 years the contest called out for stories with the themes, "Happy Love is Possible", "First Step, First Woman", "First Love", "Skin and Passion", "Utopia", "(Did) I Love a Woman "I Loved", "We Are Everywhere", "Purple", "Road", "Love is a Struggle", "Sound", "I Have the Trouble, I Have the remedy", "Love Then: Knows No Borders" "Remember Your Super Power", "Remember the Future" and this year with the theme “Home”.
