Justice for Ahmet Yıldız has not come on 20th trial too. While father, the murderer, has not been found, trial was postphoned on November 26.
Ahmet Yıldız’s 20thcase, killed by his father in Üsküdar because he was gay, took place today (July 7) in Istanbul Anatolian Courthouse 5th High Criminal Court.

Lawyer Fırat Söyle and Yaşam Çiçek, assigned to the case by bar association for defendant, attended the court. Earlier official reports were read due to the change in delegation. It was understood that warrant of arrest for defendant Yahya Yıldız was not carried out yet. It was decided to wait for warrant of arrest to be carried out and for that reason, the trial was canceled.
Yıldız’s murderer, father Yahya Yıldız has not been found yet even though it has been 7 years that he was killed and process of the trial has been continuing for 6 years. It is waited for warrant of arrest to be carried out with red notice. Correspondences about the issue between the court and chief public prosecutor’s office and police headquarters continue.

Case’s later trial will take place in Istanbul Anatolian Courthouse 5th High Criminal Court on 26 November 2015.
