“We demand annulment of 60-day residence permit limit for earthquake survivor refugees outside their registered address.”

51 institutions: Remove the 60-day residence permit limit for earthquake survivor refugees Kaos GL - News Portal for LGBTI+

51 institutions took action for the annulment of the 60-day residence permit limit for earthquake survivor refugees.

Making a joint declaration, the institutions, including Kaos GL Association, drew attention to the hostility and hatred against refugees and continued as follows:

“We demand annulment of the 60-day residence permit limit for earthquake survivor refugees outside their registered address. Earthquake survivor refugees, who used to live in 11 cities in the earthquake region, should be able to reside in other cities, where they can reestablish their life, they can access the right to housing, right to education, right to health, right to labor and other necessary services unconditionally and without loss of a right. Thus the provinces, districts and neighborhoods close to the registration / residence for refugees should be available for refugees. The ‘Deconcentration Project’, contrary to coexistence, discriminatory and unlawful should be abandoned immediately.”
