The film Blue ID by Burcu Melekoğlu and Vuslat Kara, was granted “Audience Award” by NPO.

Blue ID was granted Audience Award Kaos GL - News Portal for LGBTI+

The award ceremony of 35th International Documentary Filmfestival Amsterdam (IDFA), was held on November 17. Apolonia by Leo Glab (Denmark, Poland, France) was the winner of the IDFA Award for Best Film at the Award ceremony at the International Theatre Amsterdam (ITA). Blue ID, directed by Burcu Melekoğlu and Vuslat Karan and based on real life of Rüzgar Erkoçlar was granted “Audience Award” by NPO (Nederlandse Publieke Omroep – Netherland Public Broadcasting).

The winner of the IDFA Audience Award is selected by the votes of the audiences who express their appreciation with a voting card after the film screening. There were 153 films for the “Audience Award” this year. Totally 20 thousand 845 votes were cast by using scorecard at the end of each screening. Blue ID ranked first and became the winner of the award with a score of 9.51 from the audience.
