3 journalists, including KaosGL.org editor-in-chief Yıldız Tar, filed a criminal complaint after detainment.

Detained journalists filed a criminal complaint Kaos GL - News Portal for LGBTI+

Previously, following the detainment of 16 journalists in Diyarbakır, there had been press statements in different cities. In the Ankara press statement, the police had detained the Kaos GL editor-in-chief Yıldız Tar, reporter Deniz Nazlım from Mezopotamya News, journalist Sibel Yükler.

Tar, Yükler, and Nazlım, the three journalists detained as they were issuing a press statement for their colleagues, have filed a criminal complaint on “torture”, “insult”, “not reporting the crime”, “depriving one of their freedoms”.

Through their attorneys, the journalists have filed a criminal complaint to Ankara Attorney’s General office against all the parties involved in the detainment process.
