The Mexican Embassy met with Kaos GL and the US Embassy met with Kaos GL and Unikuir associations regarding LGBTI+ rights.
Kaos GL Association met with human rights and culture and arts officials from the Mexican Embassy on February 23rd. Representatives of the Kaos GL explained the developments in Turkey and the world in the field of LGBTI+ rights and anti-LGBTI+ hate campaigns.
Following this meeting, the Mexican Embassy posted the following on its Twitter account: "We had a meeting with the @KaosGL to discover possible forms of cooperation on LGTBI+ issues."
Ambassador David M. Satterfield of the United States of America (USA) also met with representatives of Kaos GL and the Unikuir Association on February 23rd. Kaos GL and Unikuir informed the Ambassador about the developments in Turkey and the world in the field of LGBTI+ rights and anti-LGBTI+ hate campaigns.
Following this meeting, the US Embassy on its Twitter account: "Ambassador Satterfield met today with representatives of @KaosGL and @Unikuir. The United States is committed to defending #LGBTQI+ rights globally. All human beings should be treated with respect and dignity"
