4 LGBTI activists were attacked last night in the southern city of Adana.
4 LGBTI (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, intersex) activists were attacked last night in the southern city of Adana.
Three activists from Queer Adana, Alican, Akin and Demhat, and an activist from Antep Zeugmadi, Eyup, were attacked by 8 young men about midnight near Merkez Park Galleria.
“We will not let you live”
Threatening the activists by death, the attackers battered them by their belts. Alican, who tried to resist the attacks, had cuts and bruises in his body and on his head.
The activists made a complaint at the police station and got their forensic reports. They also helped the police investigate the crime scene.
