The activists that came together by the call of the Ankara Women's Platform, said "İstanbul Convention Keeps You Alive" despite the police blockade in Sakarya Square and Bayındır Street.

Protesters chanted "Barricade the murderers, not women" at the police, who did not lift the barricade between the activists in Sakarya Square and Bayındır Street. Police tried to take the rainbow flags from activists in Bayindir Street, as they did at March 8 protests.

The protesters chanted "Trans murders are political", "The world would tremble if women were to be free", and "Protests are forbidden, unlawfulness is not" were chanted in response to the police's call to "disperse".

Both groups read the press statement from where they are as the police did not lift the barricade between the two groups and said they did not accept Turkey's withdrawal from the İstanbul Convention.
