Judith Butler calls for dialog to end hunger strikes

Worldwide known authors and scholars including prominent queer theoretician Judith Butler demanded a peaceful mediation of the hunger strikes of the Kurdish political prisoners.

 

A petition campaign was lunched to call Turkish government meet the demands of the strikers.

Butler noted the following statement: Turkish government must enter into serious dialog with these prisoners who now risk their lives to expose the injustice under which they live.
