"Quarantine I", the first issue of Kaos GL Magazine quarantine special series is out in Turkish.
The 172nd issue of Kaos GL Magazine, which is being published since 1994, is available online. The second issue of the quarantine special series will meet with its readers soon.
Kaos GL Magazine's "Quarantine I" issue was published online on May 17 International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia, and Transphobia.
The printed version of the magazine, which was published online due to the coronavirus, will also be available as a printed version in the future.
What’s in the Quarantine I issue?
The 172nd issue of Kaos GL Magazine searched for answers to the questions "What does the concept of quarantine, which is located at the center of our lives due to the coronavirus (COVID-19), mean for LGBTI+'s? How coronavirus has affected LGBTI+ lives and are related social policies sufficient at this point? How did the media handle the pandemic and how is the LGBTI+ representation in the process? Beyond being a disease measure, what do we encounter when we examined the concept of "social isolation"?" and many more, together with many activists and academics.
Sevilay Çelenk, Gülüstü Salur and Özlem Yalçınkaya, Hilal Başak Demirbaş, Üzüm Derin Solak, Damla Umut Uzun, Erdi Ker, Şevval Kılıç contributed to the case study of the magazine.
