“Law of Misdemeanor and House Sealing Thematic Workshop” was held on March 25 in Ankara, focusing on the problems of trans sex workers.
In the first part of the workshop moderated by Kaos GL’s Lawyer Hayriye Kaya, Pink Life’s Lawyer Ahmet Toköz made a presentation about the judicial process in Ankara regarding the area in which especially trans sex workers face the most problems. Later, Buse Kılıçkaya talked about the problems trans sex workers face.
In the review part of the workshop, discussions took place to collaborate with the body of lawyers in Ankara and form a strategic plan regarding the upcoming term.
This workshop was financed by European Union Sivil Düşün Program as a part of the Rainbow Coalition Against Discrimination Project conducted by Kaos GL and Pink Life associations.
