LGBTI+ and sexual health organizations in Ankara gave a message of solidarity against discrimination at a joint event on World AIDS Day.

LGBTI+ and sexual health organizations in Ankara came together with a joint event on December 1, World AIDS Day.

With the call of Red Umbrella Association, Kaos GL Association, Pink Life LGBTI+ Solidarity Association, Red Umbrella Sexual Health and Human Rights Association, 17 May Association, Young Approaches in Health Association, KuirAnka (Ankara University Queer Research Group), Queer Deer (Hacettepe University Queer Research Group), Bilkent Think Colorfully Club (BiRD), Positive Space and Positive Solidarity organized a talk.

In the event, social worker Elif Topçu from 17 May Association made presentations on sexual health, Defne Güzel from Kaos GL on the history of HIV struggle and social transformation, and Barış Ozan from Positive Solidarity on the fight against HIVphobia and stigmatization.
