LGBTI+s in Ankara painted the route of hate march with equality! Kaos GL - News Portal for LGBTI+

Anti-LGBTI+ hate march, which was held in İstanbul Saraçhane district in September, will be held in Ankara on October 30th.

Earlier on the hate meeting in Ankara, LGBTI+s marched from Hacı Bayram Veli Mosque to Ulus Square, the route of the march, before anti-LGBTI+s.

LGBTI+s in Ankara, wrote “Despite hate, long live life” on the walls along the march route and also shared a video in company with a song by Gülşen.

“Lubunya Topluluğu” (Queer Community) describes their actions for equality as follows:

As lubunyas / queers we marched along the route of hate march, which is planned to be held from Hacı Bayram Veli Mosque to Ulus Square, on October 30th, at 13:30 pm, before the anti-LGBTI+ and LGBTI+phobic gangs and religious sects.

We left them several notes along the route of the march for them to see that we exist everywhere they look. We will confront them with life and struggle at every step they take with hate. We will not leave İstanbul, Urfa or Ankara to LGBTI+phobic, fascist, Islamist gangs.

We will continue to struggle for our lives and existence. We will never leave any lubunya /queer alone against this hate. Although we had made the necessary calls to governorships and law enforces regarding the previous hate rallies, we were not taken into consideration.

This time we call out to the Ankara Governorship and law enforcement officers, even though you allow this march, we will never allow such a hate crime to be committed in our city!
