Yıldız Tar, the Editor-in-Chief of KaosGL.org, who was arrested as part of the Peoples' Democratic Congress (HDK) investigation on February 21, sent a message from prison.

Tar condemned the imprisonment of journalists and stated:

“It’s our turn to take the Silivri watch. As journalists, we have come to a point where we take turns going in and out of prison. But we cannot get used to this. Journalism is not a crime. Sending love to everyone in solidarity. Truth always prevails. Long live life despite hatred!”

According to information provided by Veysel Ok, who visited the imprisoned journalists Yıldız Tar and Ercüment Akdeniz, both are in good health and high spirits. Lawyer Ok stated that they are staying in a ward and have not experienced any issues, adding that their fellow inmates have shown them support and solidarity.
