Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan yesterday promoted his government’s ‘Being a Family Project’, which will be administered by the Ministry of Family and Social Policies.
 
Turkish government aims message at traditional heterosexual families
In reference the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) focus on families, the Prime Minister said, “the coupling of a man and a woman is crucial for the continuation of the human race. My words are especially aimed at single people.” The project underscores the “importance” of traditional heterosexual families in various fields including architecture, tourism, textiles and transportation.
 
 
Are women incubators?
“They sterilized our citizens, our people. That’s what caesareans and abortions are all about,” the Prime Minister said. “They did those things and while doing it they virtually committed murders.”
 
In a call to “Turkish mothers”, Erdoğan encouraged women to “shatter the tricks being played against Turkey” by giving birth to more children.
