The police prevented a party to be organized in an LGBTI+ bar in Istanbul. 30 people were detained. 8 of the detainees were arrested on charges of “ immoral behavior” and “obscenity”.

On Sunday, October 20, the police prevented a private party in an LGBTI+ bar in Istanbul. They detained 30 people who were in the venue at the time. 8 of the detainees were arrested on October 22.
According to a joint statement by Istanbul LGBTI+ Pride Week and Trans Pride Week, 2 migrant LGBTI+ people among those released were sent to Arnavutköy Immigration Administration.
In the joint statement of the organizations, it was also stated that the detainees were subjected to torture and ill-treatment.
