Nükhet Duru, who participated in the Tonight Show of İbrahim Selim, reacted to the growing hatred towards LGBTI+ and said, "LGBTI rights are human rights."
Pop diva Nükhet Duru participated in the Tonight program with Ibrahim Selim. When asked about the recent statements that scapegoats LGBTI+'s regarding the epidemic, Duru replied:
“This is serious. I don't think it's really acceptable for anyone to harass people with such hatred and with no remorse. LGBTI rights are human rights. And I'm against that distinction. And sexual orientation should not be discussed either. I've been looking at it like this all along. Everyone has their own life. It's between them and their god. You can't interfere with their home, their possessions, or the way of life. So let this be my serious but short explanation.”
