A release order has been issued for Yıldız Tar, who has been held in Silivri Prison since February 21 as part of the investigation into the HDK.

A release order has been issued for Yıldız Tar, Editor-in-Chief of KaosGL.org, who has been in pre-trial detention since February 21 as part of the investigation into the Peoples' Democratic Congress (HDK).
Recently, the court rejected a release request in the same case where Tar is detained, issuing a decision of lack of jurisdiction for three individuals including Tar. The Istanbul 26th High Criminal Court decided to transfer the case concerning Tar to Ankara.
Today, the court ruled for Tar's release pending trial. Taking into account the time already spent in detention and the current state of evidence in the file, the court decided to release Tar under judicial control measures, including a travel ban. Tar is expected to be released from prison around 3:00 PM today.
The first hearing in Tar's trial will take place on 13 October.
