Two separate suits were filed against the Association for Supporting Tarlabaşı Community (TTM), which has been working to provide safe places, especially for children and women for 15 years. The Community Center, which has been targeted by the media almost for one year, learned about the suit filed against it via media once again. The second trial of the case was heard at the 18th Civil Court of First Instance on November 2nd.

Police barriers were placed in front of the hearing room. There were also a great number of police in front of the room. Right defenders came to the courthouse to follow the hearing with the call of “İyi ki varsın TTM”. Claiming that the hearing room was too small, the court allowed only the litigant parties and the press to enter.

Attorneys of TTM, reminded their objection to an interim decision on October 11, to accept the involvement request of the Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Family and Social Services. The Court rejected the objection. And the involvement of the ministries in the case became definite.

With the decision regarding the pending return of the file from the expert, the case was postponed to February 21, 2023, at 11.30 am.
