In the first "Family Education Seminars" organized by the ministry for citizens living in Germany, a session titled "De-gendering" will also be included.

The Ministry of Family and Social Services continues its anti-LGBTI+ policies through training programs under the title "Family Education Seminar for Citizens Abroad."
The ministry announced that it will launch family education seminars for citizens living abroad. As part of the "Year of the Family," the first seminar will be held online on April 12-13 for Turkish citizens living in Germany and will include a session titled "De-gendering."
The seminar program also includes topics such as "The Past and Present of Turkish Families in Germany and the Year of the Family," "Intra-Family Communication," "Family and Marriage Life," "Child and Adolescent Psychology," "Family, Media, and the Internet," "Combating Violence Against Women," and "Fighting Addiction."
In its announcement promoting the anti-LGBTI+ training, the ministry emphasized the "protection and strengthening of the family," claiming that family education is "one of the key mechanisms for strengthening the institution of the family."
The ministry stated in its announcement:
"The family is one of our most ancient and deeply rooted institutions. It serves as a bridge between individuals and society in terms of childcare and upbringing, passing down cultural identity and values to new generations, and transmitting social consciousness. For our citizens living abroad, ensuring the healthiest possible intergenerational transfer is seen as highly valuable in the context of preserving and strengthening the concept of family."
These training programs were previously mentioned in the Action Plan and Strategic Plan
In May 2024, the ministry announced the Action Plan for the Protection and Strengthening of the Family, outlining five strategic goals, 15 strategic targets, and 100 activities. These included objectives such as "enhancing the effectiveness of international efforts for the protection and strengthening of the family," "safeguarding family and family values in media and digital platforms," and "increasing family-friendly media productions, digital content, and accessibility to them."
Additionally, in the 2024-2028 Strategic Plan, the ministry allocated an estimated 385 million TL under the objective titled "Enhancing and expanding family-oriented education and counseling services."
Meanwhile, the 2025 Central Government Budget projects an expenditure of 16 billion TL under the category "Protection and Strengthening of the Family."
