Yıldız Tar, Editor-in-Chief of KaosGL.org, has been nominated for the GALAS LGBTQ+ Awards. Tar shares the shortlist with Anna Sharyhina from Ukraine and Dafne Muneca Aguilar from Mexico.
The 2024 nominees for the GALAS Awards, Ireland’s LGBTQ+ awards, organized annually by the National LGBT Federation (NXF) of Ireland, have been announced. In the shortlists in 13 categories, one name from Turkey also took place.
KaosGL.org Editor-in-Chief Yıldız Tar was shortlisted in the international category of GALAS 2024. Tar was also nominated in the same category in 2023. In addition to Tar, Anna Sharyhina from Ukraine and Dafne Muneca Aguilar from Mexico are on the shortlist.
On October 5 this year, the awards ceremony will be held at the Dublin Royal Convention Centre in the Radisson Blue Hotel.
GALAS is a unique opportunity to celebrate, empower and connect Ireland’s glittering LGBTQ+ community. The GALAS celebrate the people, communities and organisations from all over Ireland who have a positive impact on the LGBTQ+ community and who are actively striving for a just and equal society. One award each year goes to an advocate from outside Ireland.
