TRT World announced the upcoming anti-LGBTI+ documentary on its social media accounts. Messages of support came from RTÜK and TRT management.

An anti-LGBTI+ documentary from TRT World, RTÜK supports it! Kaos GL - News Portal for LGBTI+

TRT World prepared a mini documentary targeting LGBTI+ people. The first trailer of the documentary titled “True Colours: Revealing the dark side of gender ideology” has been released. The documentary, which will soon be broadcast on TRT World, claims that the LGBTI+ movement is “imported from the West” and that defending LGBTI+ rights is a “highly profitable industry”. The documentary reproduces common and false myths about LGBTI+ people.

TRT World made the following statements in its announcement for the documentary on its social media accounts:

“A new digital series exclusive to TRT World, “True Colours” explores the untold stories of those who have been affected by the spread of gender ideology and the LGBT lobby.”

Radio and Television Supreme Council Deputy Chair İbrahim Uslu quoted the trailer of the documentary published on X (Twitter) and wrote:

“A new digital series exclusive to TRT World, “True Colours” explores the untold stories of those who have been affected by the spread of gender ideology and the LGBT lobby. Coming soon.”

And TRT World Broadcast Coordinator Selman Tecim announced the documentary targeting LGBTI+s as follows:

“Our new digital series ‘True Colours’ presents examples and experiences of untold stories affected by the spread of gender ideology and LGBT lobbies on a global scale. Follow us to watch the stories!”

TRT Board Member Hilal Kaplan, who writes columns and books for Sabah newspaper, expressed support for the upcoming documentary:

“An essential documentary is on its way to fight against this perverted ideology emanating from the West in the international arena; exclusive to TRT World…”
