Are the rights of LGBTI+ students respected in Turkey’s capital Ankara and the most populous city İstanbul?

This question is responded to by the joint report prepared by University Queer Research and LGBTI+ Solidarity Association (UniKuir) and Social Policy, Gender Identity and Sexual Orientation Studies Association (SPoD).

Within the scope of the joint report titled “Gender Equality in the Context of LGBTI+ Rights at State Universities in Ankara and İstanbul: Current status of LGBTI+ Students and Discrimination against LGBTI+s”, in-depth interviews were conducted with students, academic and administrative staff and alumni from 18 universities.
