I wrote this piece, cause DORA ÖZER was killed in her home in Kuşadası on 9 July. I don’t know that person but everytime I hear that a person is killed cause she is living in similar situations in some cases like me, I’m fucked.

 

I am priviliged. I have a passport of this fucking transphobic Germoney. You could read my real name in it and I have officially the correct gender. It was hard work for me, but it worked out. I have a health insurance which pays a little bit of the things my body needs and I have a European passing. I am privileged. But I also pass as a trans person and noone is asking if it’s correct and I am a sexworker, which is a big part of my life.

 

My parents fucked in Germany, so I am officially alive in this transphobic country. Other parents fucked in Turkey and their daughters got killed in transphobic Turkey. Many trans-feminine persons are sex workers in Turkey cause they have no other chance. Like me.

No tolerance to this. Transphobia is everywhere but many persons with a trans*passing have the privilige to survive like me but I’m a survivor too. My privileges didn’t saved me against violence.
