International Meeting Against Homophobia Starts in Kocaeli

Kaos GL starts local events of the 8^th International Meetings Against Homophobia in Kocaeli.

Two workshops will be set up as part of the event, on 27 November 2012 at the union Eğitim-Sen’s branch.

 

First workshop will be on “Media Literacy Against Homophobia”, which will moderated and represented by Seçin Tuncel, Kaos GL’s Education and Media Monitoring Coordinator. Since 2007, Kaos GL monitors media and analyses discrimination in daily news.

 

This event will be open to general audience.  The second workshop, “Local Activism Against Heterosexism” will be moderated by Evren E. Çakmak, Kaos GL’s Activity Coordinator. This workshop will not be open to general audience and will aim empowering local activities against homophobia.
