Intersex activists around Turkey, united under the umbrella of “Inter Dayanışma” (Inter Solidarity). Activists announced their unity with a statement made earlier on Intersex Awareness Day / October 26th:
“We, intersex activists living in Turkey, are pleased to announce that we have united our independent advocacy activities under the corporate identity of Inter Solidarity.”
Intersex activism, which has been performed and carried out by some blogs like intersexualshalala, Interseks Anatolya and Interseks Türkiye, by internet groups and advocacy groups till now, has become more powerful, systematic and easily accessible form with the support of OII Europe and May 17 Association.
