It’s official - Belgrade’s Pride banned!

The same argument as last year: for security measures (as PM Ivica Dacic puts it) the pride in Belgrade will not be allowed tomorrow.

 

Dacic said that the decision was unanimous and it was taken during the long session of the Bureau (a security coordination board that in a strange way can be up to the right of assembly!!!). 

 

"It is only for security concerns", he said.

 

At the meeting of the Bureau, he added, this was a long argument. Security assessments have shown that it is not possible, according to him, to have a safe Pride.

 

Dacic told RTS that "this is not a capitulation to hooligans."
