2. Mesopotamia Social Forum will take place between 21 and 25 September in Diyarbakır under the slogan “For the Sake of Humanity, against Capitalism and Exploitation Freedom Will Win”. “LGBT” panel which Kaos GL will participate as well is on the last day of the forum.
 
“LGBT and Discrimination” session in MSF
One of the sessions which will take place in MSF and where KAOS GL will participate as well will be “LGBT and Discrimination”. Panel “LGBT and Discrimination” will take place in the last day of Forum on 25 September Sunday 10.00-12.30 AM in “S5-Ferat” in Sümerpark.
 
Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) of Kurdish origin Istanbul Independent Representative Sebahat Tuncel, and Ali Erol from Kaos GL will also speak in the panel “LGBT and Discrimination”.
 
MSF Begins with a Demonstration on 21 September
The heading of this year of MSF is fixed as “For the Sake of Humanity, against Capitalism and Exploitation Freedom Will Win.”
 
Forum will begin on 21 September at 5.30 with inaugural demonstration, and will take place on Sümerpark Campus. During the forum panels, meetings, workshops and mini forums will take place in five different halls. 
 
“The fact that people have different native languages will not divide the country”
BDPŞırnakRepresentativeHasip Kaplan, who participated in the last preparation assembly which took place in Ankara, expressed that the forum is of utmost importance, and the conclusions which would be drawn from here should be taken as a reference point and should be conveyed to TBMM.
 
Kaplan, telling “you are the hosts, not we” stated: “MST is an utterly civil formation where everybody will sing their songs and shout their zilgit. In this activity it will be perceived that the fact that people have different native languages will not divide the country.”
 
From World to Diyarbakır
MSF has been established on 20 December 2008 as a solidarity network composed of social organizations, initiatives, trade unions, civil society organizations, local governances and formations alike who claim upon “Another World is Possible”.
 
Many people from Argentinia, Ecuador, Brasilia, Italy, Germany, Russia, Egypt, Morocco, Lebanon, Palestine, Yemen, Iraq, Federal Kurdistan Region, Iran, Syria, Turkey, Armenia, France, Republic of Cameroon and Nigeria will participate to the forum organized by Mesopotamia Social Forum.
