(1) On 16 June 2009, the Seimas, Lithuanian Parliament, in a final reading and with a great majority adopted an amended Law on the Protection of Minors against the Detrimental Effect of Public Information. Could you please elaborate more about the details of the new legislation?

The new piece of legislation would forbid to speak positively about homosexuality because it will be considered as public information that causes detrimental effect to the development of Minors. So this law, if the President of the Lithuania signed, will reinforce discrimination based on a person
