‘Homophobia should have died, not Isa’

 

The president of Azad LGBT who committed suicide on January 22 last year is commemorated by LGBT people on the first anniversary of his death.

 

In a video prepared by Nefes LGBT, Sahmarli’s friends talk about his death, the situation for LGBT people in Azerbaijan and their struggle.

 

Sahmarli’s friends and LGBTs also visited the grave of the activist who left a suicide note which reads “This world is not strong enough to bear my colors”.
