The International marathon Maratonİzmir 2021 took place on April 11.
Mert Aksoy, who participated in the 10K race of the marathon, flew the rainbow flag during the marathon. Aksoy crossed the finish line with the slogan "İstanbul Convention keeps you alive!"
About International Maratonİzmir 2021
International MarathonIzmir 2021 took place as two separate races of 10K (120 minutes) and 42K (300 minutes).
The 42-kilometer race started in front of the Fuar Kültürpark İzfaş building at Şair Eşref Boulevard with the first turn before the Karşıyaka Bostanlı Pier, and the second turn from Izmir Marina at the entrance to Haydar Aliyev Boulevard, finishing at the starting point in front of the Fuar Kültürpark İzfaş building.
The 10-kilometer race started from the opposite lane of the Fuar Kültürpark İzfaş building at Şair Eşref Boulevard with a turn from the Bridge tram stop on Mustafa Kemal Sahil Boulevard, finishing at the starting point in the opposite lane of the Fuar Kültürpark İzfaş building.
